I had 23 yards blown in and Corey was very pleasant and good to work with on getting it scheduled. She returned all calls well within an hour. Kirk and Cody arrived on the time they had promised and did a great job of spreading the bark and clean up afterwards. All was done throughout the property in 90 minutes from arrival to departure. I highly recommend Bark King and this is the 2nd time I used them and both times excellent results!Posted on Google

Bark King is fantastic. They blew in the mulch mix first which added a nice dark color to our beds. The next visit was fine bark blown into the walks and areas we are hoping to suppress weed growth. The crew was professional and punctual. They called and let us know when to expect the truck to arrive. I would recommend them! Update! So worth the wait. The crew was awesome and did a fantastic job avoiding our delicate plants.Posted on Google

I had called many companies and went with them for the very nice customer service explaining everything on the phone. We did not get a date for the service but were called a few weeks later and were scheduled. They showed up on schedule, and the crew was very nice and did an immaculate job! I mean the work was literally perfect! the bark was of excellent quality, nice and thick everywhere, and they got ever little corner of our yard and cleaned up perfectly. From the folks who answer the phone, to the wonderful compassionate scheduler who is detailed beyond and ON IT, to the guys who were kind, friendly, helpful, professional, FABULOUS, and showed up on the dot and did such a spectacular job and left the yard spotless, every single person a joy and a true Professional. Every interaction superb. Phenomenal. Cannot say enough good things about these guys. Just stop your looking and call them. There is no one better. All this at a fair price. barbara d.26 March 2025I had 20 yards of fertille mulch blown in. It looks fabulous. They showed up right when they said they would, they were very nice and I enjoyed talking to them. My gardens look so much better and they will be healthier too with all the compost. I called other companies but they weren't able to help me until the fall which would be much too late. Derek Sciba2 August 2023A team of two guys blew in bark (mulch) at our house yesterday, taking two hours to do a job that would have taken me several days. They spread bark over a newly landscaped area with no bark and spread over areas with existing bark. Highly professional, courteous, and they cleaned up afterwards with a leaf blower. Looks amazing. Only downside was that the service is in high demand, so for me it took a month or two to go from initial scheduling to actually getting the service done. I called during a busy time and expected it might take weeks before they could get me in. But it only took about a week!! Kirk and his team were fabulous! They made sure to ask if I had any specifications and they worked quickly and cleaned up so well afterward. They were friendly and nice to have at my home. I also liked the materials they used. A rich brown color mulch that I love!! And to top it off, the cost came in under bid. Definitely calling them when I need mulch again!!Posted on Google

The crew was professional and meticulous with placement and clean up. I was really impressed with their attention to detail because that is so important to me. Upon finishing, the head crewman walked the yard with me to make sure I was happy with the result, absolutely I was! I recommend Bark King for any job you have, small or large. I have used them twice over the past 2 years and they never cease to impress me with their professionalism and amazing customer service. From the initial ordering process to the delivery process, everything always runs smoothly. I have a huge backyard which can be tricky to navigate but Kirk and Cory made it look easy. They were done in about an hour and a half with 30 yards of bark evenly sprayed. Afterward, their clean-up was spotless. On top of everything else, I have a 100 feet inclined driveway which they navigated their big truck up with little problem. (Most of my neighbors refuse to even attempt my driveway.) Thank you to Bark King Blower Truck Service for your first-rate work. I look forward to using them again and again. I will definitely sing their praises to all my friends and neighbors. We have many delicate plants, recently put in new grass, and we have additional landscaping challenges to deal with on our property and they did an amazing job! I love the way the two gentlemen put down the bark exactly as we had requested and they cleaned up perfectly leaving our property in showcase condition. I highly recommend Bark King they are amazing! I've used Bark King twice. They've typically provided a great service and the crew that shows up has done a top-notch job both times, even calling and sending me pics to make sure I was satisfied. I've recommended them to several friends and neighbors, which is why my most recent experience left a bad taste. When I called to schedule my appointment, I clearly mentioned I would be out of town. The scheduler assured me I would be credited with my $50 coupon despite not being home, and even quoted me the reduced price. I inquired again to be sure when they call to confirm the appointment. Once the job was done, they refused to honor the coupon because I wasn't present to show it. The person who called for my CC # claimed to know nothing about it and would "check with her manager." After five exchanges via email and excuses from personal appointments to her manager being away over several weeks, I was told it could not be honored because I wasn't home. It was a big job, but $50 means something to me. As does the principle of how the business chose to renege on a minor coupon. No phone call to explain, and whoever the "manager" is declined to address it personally. As a small business person myself, I was certainly disappointed in their approach to customer service. But the office was super friendly when quoting me the job cost.Posted on YelpMary W.23 April 2021Kirk and Corey showed up on the dot this morning and made my whole yard look great! Corey noticed that the gravel was a little thin in one area of a side path, and voluntarily shoveled some gravel from another area onto the thin area. Two guys this time and roughly 2 hours. Again, less than the landscaper would have charged me, and certainly less time spent here. And they did it all with a smile. One thing I do have to mention is the scheduling process. It takes literally weeks to get a date scheduled and even then, they can't give a time. I found out yesterday that they would be here today at 7 am. They are really nice people and do great work, but the scheduling is a glitch for me.Posted on Angie's List

Teri H.27 July 2020With increasing age I have decided there are some things I just don't want to do any more and one of them is covering my planting areas with bark or mulch. I checked out the option of using a blower truck service and I am so glad I did because it was a perfect experience from start to finish. Jessika (who answers the phone and takes the order) was so helpful and a delight to deal with. When the guys arrived Ryan walked around the yard, confirmed what I wanted and then he (along with his coworker) did a meticulous job blowing in the mulch and cleaning up any over spray. I had done all my seasonal pruning and weed removal in advance and now my yard is as perfect as it can be and I love it. This is a more costly option than DIY but well work it.Posted on Yelp
Jenny M.4 May 2020This is my second time hiring Bark King. The entire experience from the first phone call to the guys coming out to install the bark was excellent service and product. I get the fertile mulch and it's definitely helped my garden plantings thrive. I live on a slope so this service is definitely the way to go for me since using a wheel barrow is not possible. Today Kirk, Josh, and Ryan were here on time with great communication to give me a heads up on arrival time. They were efficient and made the place look beautiful, and they were careful around the plantings. I decided to go with blowing bark in and I am very happy with that decision. I was pleased with the whole process of ordering, scheduling, and actual process of placing the bark. There was professionalism and sense that I'm dealing with people who knows what they are doing. Cost was also cheaper than I expected. Initially, I called another place, and I was told that it will about 8 weeks before they could come out since this was peak season. I then called Bark King who was actually little cheaper than the first place and they also quoted 6-8 weeks. However, they were confident that they can squeeze me in earlier since they often have extra time between jobs, and they were actually able squeeze me in to do it in 1-2 weeks after initial call. Three guys came in with a truck load of bark, and they placed bark exactly where I wanted. One person did the blowing and other two raked and cleaned up so that bark goes where it supposed to go. Initially, I just wanted the back yard, but when I saw that there were barks left over, they accommodated me and did the front yard as well. They cleaned up left with beautiful front and back yard. In all, they took one or two hours with minimal supervision required. In fact, I was able to do the laundry and make dinner (it was my spaghetti night) while intermittently checking the work. It was far cheaper than hiring someone to place bark and not much more expensive and less painful on my back than placing it myself. I did lot of work on the house this year including siding, painting, plumbing, and putting artificial turf (I lost 4 year battle with the moles), and I feel blowing bark with Bark KIng was the most pleasant and smoothest process.Posted on Angie's ListStephen H.9 January 2015Called them and left a message. Even though most had gone home for the night, someone called me back that day because they hadn't turned off the answering machine which I thought was nice of them. Very responsive to messages and easy to work with. I can understand how scheduling can be a bit inconvenient as you have to select a day and then the schedulers go to assign jobs and you have to wait to get a call back as to a time frame of when they can arrive. However they were very professional and tried to accommodate our schedule as best they could. We were the first job of the day so they were here right on time. The work was quick and clean. The scheduling part of the service was a bit painful. They didn't have knowledge of what days and time slots were available more than a couple days in advance. So there were 2-3 calls needed for scheduling. The actual service was great. The blower truck crew was very professional. They do a very thorough job distributing the bark and cleaning up afterwards.Load more

Cory walked me through how much bark I needed and worked hard to juggle the schedule so it could be done before I left on a three week trip even though her schedule was fully booked. In the end we still didn’t order enough and one of their employees, Don, came back to finish the job while we were gone
And what a great job he did! He covered areas we hadn’t even asked for so everything looks fabulous. Highly recommend using this company as the employees in the front office are women -Tawny is another person I spoke to- and we women know how to get things done !
